80 Ring Boxes Ready For Birth

The last entry we left the mighty trees ready to give birth
or go to seed. Enough silliness about these boxes. Here are
80 Large Ring Boxes ( my second largest size ) ready to be
cut on the band saw and glued together. These are at the
point were I work on 10 at a time. This is quite a process
and I’ll post some photos on that as I go along.

Seriously impressed. Wish they would bring back practical skills like woodwork back into schools. Lots of children not academic but forced to study history and geography for years and years when they could be learning how to do this! Boxes look fab.

Thank you very much Anna. The schools have a had time admitting that all kids can't be doctors.

Anna, As a new reader to this blog, I hope Woodsterman didn't confuse you. Woodsterman is also me. I hope upon your return, if you haven't already, you click on the different pages in the upper right corner. You can see a lot of our work there. I hope to see you here again.

Wow, they look great!!! <3 The colors are really cool, as well. :)

Lola, that's what they look like before the magic starts. They're sitting there just waiting for me to get going. Actually, I've finished 20 of them at this point.

You like the colors huh? Well what you see are nature's colors. I use NO stains of any kind. If I want a different color, I use a different wood.

20 of them? Haha, may I ask how long it takes to get just one of them done?

Yes, I love the colors. <3 It's amazing how colorful the world is: the grass, the sky, the sun - it's all so colorful. :)

I finish ten a day, Lola. If I did one at a time, it would take two days. I always have about thirty in different stages of completion. This is the only way I can afford to sell then at a low price by making them in bulk.

Well, they look great - and seem like a lot of work, so.... I hope you get lots of money off of them, haha. :)

Those little guys pay the bills, Lola.

Haha, well, they may be little, but they sound like a lot of work to me.
